Don't Cry for Eliot
Eliot Spitzer reported $1.9 million in income to the IRS in 2006, according to his last publicly available tax return. Not including last year, his earnings have been $14.9 million since 1998, and that total only hints at his family’s wealth. Spitzer's Father, Bernard, a 83 year old real-estate developer is reportedly worth $500 million. I don't know how much Elliot is really worth, however a couple of years ago he had political problems with a trust he was involved in, that was worth around $25 million. Seems the IRS fined him on the Trust's failure to make charitable donations.
Despite his wealth, those close to him suggest that he was "frugal", "extremely careful" or outright tight with his money. Perhaps chosing a three diamond hour instead of a seven diamond hour was yet another mark of Spitzer's notarious frugality?
Spitzer has the classic New York rich kid résumé. The scion of a family that made a fortune in real estate, Spitzer attended Horace Mann High School, graduated from Princeton (Class of 1981) and Harvard Law School, where he was an editor of the Harvard Law Review. After clerking for a judge, he worked as an assistant district attorney in Manhattan from 1986 to 1992. Spitzer was a young man in a hurry—literally. In 1994, the 35-year-old first-time candidate ran a disappointing fourth (out of four) in a largely self-financed Democratic primary for attorney general. After biding his time at a white-shoe law firm, he ran again in 1998, again relying on family money. This time he nipped incumbent Republican Dennis Vacco.

Filthy Whore Update
The call girl who New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer allegedly paid more than $4,000 to for sex was identified as a 22-year-old aspiring musician from Manhattan, according to The New York Times. "I just don't want to be thought of as a monster," the woman, Ashley Alexandra Dupre, told the Times. "This has been a very difficult time. It's complicated."
That's what she said. What she meant was, "I am a low life whore and an opportunist. Do you know the dirty and sickening things that high profile people like Spitzer have asked me to do to them, for them? I'm waiting for the highest bidder. I am after all, a whore".
Famous Whore told the Times that she has slept very little since the allegations against Spitzer were revealed earlier this week. In an August blog posting, she wrote: "The past few months have been a roller coaster with so called friends, lovers, and family."
That's what she said, what she meant was, "I have spent the past few months consulting various people trying to find out how to best milk this situation. What I want is a lot of cash and a record deal".
Famous Whore is being represented by Don D. Buchwald, a New York lawyer.

Out of the Mouths of Whores...

"I am all about my music, and my music is all about me… It flows from what I’ve been through, what I’ve seen and how I feel. I live in New York and am on top of the world. Been here since 2004 and I love this city, I love my life here. But, my path has not been easy. When I was 17, I left home. It was my decision and I’ve never looked back. Left my hometown. Left a broken family. Left abuse. Left an older brother who had already split. Left and learned what it was like to have everything, and lose it, again and again. Learned what it was like to wake up one day and have the people you care about most gone. I have been alone. I have abused drugs. I have been broke and homeless. But, I survived, on my own. I am here, in NY because of my music. It started when I moved in with a musician during my odyssey to New York. One day, I was in the shower singing “respect.” He and his lead guitarist burst in, had me repeat it and it started. We wrote, rehearsed and toured. After recording a bit with them, I decided to move to Manhattan to pursue my music career. I spent the first two years getting to know the music scene, networking in clubs and connecting with the industry. Now, it’s all about my music. It’s all about expressing me. I can sit here now, and knowingly tell you that life’s hard sometimes. But, I made it. I’m still here and I love who I am. If I never went through the hard times, I would not be able to appreciate the good ones. Cliché, yes, but I know it’s true. I have experienced just how hard it can be. I can honestly tell you to never dwell on the past, but build from it and keep moving forward. Don’t let anyone hold you back or tell you that you can’t…because you can. I didn’t and here I am, just listen to it…. What we Want is my latest track. It’s really about trust, something my past has made very difficult for me to feel. This one was inspired by a guy, who taught me not to confuse my dreams with the sounds of the city…I hope you like it."
This is from Kristen's Myspace Page. And by Kristen, I mean Ashley Alexandra Dupre, er Ashley Youmans. You know, the one prostitute that didn't find Eliot difficult and did everything he told her to.
Ew!
11:48 AM 3/12/08
So Spitzer resigned. He said all the right things but delivered his statement like the glib, cocky SOB he is. Why Silda stands by him, I know not. It's all so sordid. Don't know what he plans to do to work towards the common good. Perhaps he could mentor whores in the Bronx? Help them cultivate their skills and God given talents so that they too, could charge upwards of $5,ooo per hour.

"In the past few days, I've begun to atone for my private failings with my wife Silda, my children, and my entire family. The remorse I feel will always be with me. Words cannot describe how grateful I am for the love and compassion they have shown me.
From those to whom much is given, much is expected. I have been given much: the love of my family, the faith and trust of the people of New York, and the chance to lead the state. I am deeply sorry that I did not live up to what was expected of me. To every New Yorker and to all those who believed in what I tried to stand for, I sincerely apologize. I look at my time as Governor with a sense of what might have been, but I also know that as a public servant I, and the remarkable people with whom I worked, have accomplished a great deal. There is much more to be done, and I cannot allow my private failings to disrupt the people’s work.
Over the course of my public life I have insisted – I believe correctly – that people, regardless of their position or power take responsibility for their conduct. I can and will ask no less of myself. For this reason I am resigning from the office of governor. At Lieutenant Governor Patterson’s request, the resignation will be effective Monday, March 17, a date that he believes will permit an orderly transition. I go forward with the belief, as others have said, that as human beings, our greatest glory consists not in never falling but in rising every time we fall.
As I leave public life I will first do what I need to do to help and heal myself and my family. Then I will try once again, outside of politics, to serve the common good and to move toward the ideals and solutions which I believe can build a future of hope and opportunity for us and for our children. I hope all of New York will join my prayers for my friend David Paterson as he embarks on his new mission. And I thank the public once again for the privilege of service. Thank you very much."
No Eliot, thank you. For making my day!

$6,000 an hour?
"What kind of shit are these women doing for $6,000 an hour?? Listen, the most I have ever, EVER paid for sex was $18.13 and it wasn’t half bad, so I can’t even fathom was 6 grand gets you. Is it even sex anymore? Shit, if I’m paying a woman $6,000 an hour or $31,000 a day forget the sex! This bitch better be able to give me insider trading tips, go to work for me, take me on a journey through time using her personal flux capacitor, or be made out of solid gold that I can chip away at and keep for later. What the hell kind of sex act is worth that kind of money? All I know is that the clients that were paying for this better have been taking full advantage. I’m talking golden showers, money shots, shit-eating, and all the other disturbing things I’ve ever done…er, seen on the internet.
Listen, I’m not going to lie to you, I can’t even begin to describe to you the things I’d allow to be put in my ass for $31,000 a day. Lightbulbs, small animals. campaign bottles, whatever. As long as you’re paying up front, my ass is your’s both figuratively and literally. So let these women do their thing and make their money. Don’t punish them for letting men insert various objects into their rectums for $31,000 a day." (Source: Of Prostitutes and Other Things/ Copy & Cigarettes)

Spitzer to Resign Effective Monday
Resignation at 11:30 today?
Stay tuned.

Poor baby is afraid of doing jail time for his felony, so he's still hammering out a prison free deal. Hence the felayed resignation. Word on the street is he's going to lose his law licence. Thank goodness, his daddy's a billionaire!
New York Governor Eliot Spitzer is under pressure to quit today after the state's Republican leadership threatened him with impeachment over allegations he was the client of a prostitution ring.
Spitzer, 48, who also faced calls to resign from fellow Democrats in the state Legislature, is weighing the consequences of not resigning following the impeachment threat, the New York Times reported, citing unidentified aides. Some of his aides said he may quit today, though they didn't know for certain, according to the Times. His wife, Silda Wall Spitzer, was telling him he shouldn't quit, the Times said.

And then, there are those who will cry
HE WAS SET UP!
According to which wacko you listen to, he was set up by anyone from George Bush to some lowly insurance agent hellbent on revenge. Seriously? Dude. Seriously.
Me, I just laugh.

The Unsafe Sexual Activities requested by Eliot

Everybody is talking about the 'unsafe activities' Eliot requested of the prostitute. Myself, I want to know why other prostitutes had found him to be difficult. You won't find this dirt on MSNBC but you will find it on chat boards, blogs and infecting the Internet. I inched up to a group of whispering women gathered together at the 92nd Street Y.
Three specific activies are being discussed in detail, and of course everyone claims to know someone who knows someone or saw something or heard something. Of course. One thing we know is Eliot wasn't requesting missionary sex.
60 percent of people are speculating or claim to have information that suggests Eliot refused to wear a condom and wanted to, 'ride bareback'. The remaining 40 percent were spinning tales of analingus and bukkake fantasies. That's probably as much as we should say on this subject. For now, anyway.

Enough Already, Eliot, Stop Hiding...

"But it's just a teeny tiny weiner", explains Eliot.
In New York, pressure is increasing on New York Governor Eliot Spitzer to resign over a call-girl scandal. Investigators say he was clearly a repeat customer of a call-girl operation who spent as much as $80,000 over an extended period of time. Tuesday night, Spitzer and his family are secluded in their Manhattan apartment considering his resignation. "If the governor does not resign and I hope that's not the case, we've said that within 24 to 48 hours, we're going to ask the speaker of the NYS assembly to call upon articles of impeachment," said Assemblyman, James Tedisco.

Some People Still Love The Jerk (Not us though)
The activist website democrats.com has launched a Save Spitzer campaign. (Booo!)
Any fool who wants to keep this hypcocrite in office can sign their online petition. I don't know too many people eager to tie their names to Spitzers, but her, maybe you do.
Dear Governor Spitzer,
Don't let the Republicans and the rightwing media drive you out of office!
You made a lot of powerful enemies in your career because you took on the most powerful crooks on Wall Street. Now your enemies are trying to get even by destroying your career and your life. Don't let them!
The whole investigation by the Bush Administration stinks to high heaven. This isn't a case of "structuring" or "money laundering." The FBI never investigates johns - so why are they investigating you?
The answer is obvious. George Bush and Karl Rove turned the Justice Department into the political destruction arm of the Republican Party. They've prosecuted 5.6 Democrats for every Republican.
That's why former Alabama Governor Don Siegelman is rotting in jail, and that's what they want to do to you.
As Americans, we are outraged by Bush's endless abuses of justice. If anyone should be removed from office, it's George Bush!
Governor Spitzer, please stand and fight against this outrageous and naked partisan Republican assault. We support you!

Will Spitzer Have to go to 'John School'?
In D.C., men who get caught trying to pay for sex are frequently required to attend an 8-hour class known as John School, run through the U.S. Attorney's office, where they are schooled about the evils of prostitution, introduced to "survivors" of prostitution, and counseled by a psychologist about sexual addiction.

They blogged about Client #9 before anybody knew who he was,
Kristen, the prostitute, has just serviced a john. Rachelle, her boss, has asked her if he was "difficult," because, she says, this guy has asked for strange things in the past.
Kristen: "I don't think he's difficult. I mean it's just kind of like, whatever, I'm here for a purpose. I know what my purpose is. I am not a ... moron, you know what I mean. So maybe that's why girls think they're difficult. That's what it is, because you're here for a purpose. Let's not get it twisted. I know what I do, you know.
Rachelle: "You look at it uniquely, because no one ever sees it that way."
Kristen: "I have a way of dealing with that. I'd be like, listen dude, you really want the sex? You know what I mean?"

So, who are clients 1-8?
I'm sure we're going to learn much, much more about this in the hours ahead, but if it's true -- as the Times alleges -- that Spitzer is "Client 9" of the Emperors Club, a prostitution ring with branches in Washington, London, and Paris in addition to New York, I have to wonder: Who are clients 1 through 8? Is the ordering by importance, chronological, or random? How international was the clientele?
Eliot Needs Help...
"Eliot Spitzer's enormous failure is not political, nor simply personal. He suffers from a character flaw that defeated his better angels. He simply couldn't tell the truth, even when a lie wasn't needed. It's as though he didn't know the difference. It's now obvious his whole life was a lie. This is a man who thundered against illegality and prosecuted prostitution rings, and now has been caught patronizing one. He needs help. New York does not need him."
